At 12:00pm on Friday, October 12, 2018, the Biomaterials Lab will be hosting a lunch session in DBH Room 180 at Rice University. Free pizza will be provided to all attendees.
Learn about the materials fabrication and characterization equipment available in the Biomaterials Lab. This talk will introduce the variety of 3D printers, bioprinters, and electrospinning devices available in the Lab to fabricate anything from microfluidics devices and electrospun nanofibrous meshes to tissue scaffolds and prototype or finished devices and tools. We will also discuss the material characterization equipment available, including chromatography, microCT, rheology, and differential scanning calorimetry. Illustrative examples will be provided to show how the Biomaterials Lab can make a difference in your research.
